What are Special Initiations?
Special initiations are sacred ceremonies from the Beninese vodun tradition, designed to establish a deep connection with ancestral forces, receive powerful protections, develop spiritual gifts, or be inducted into traditional secret societies.
Unlike classic rituals that respond to a specific problem, initiation is a lifelong commitment. It profoundly transforms your being, connects you to a guardian spirit, and opens the doors to ancestral knowledge reserved for a spiritual elite. It is an honor and a responsibility.
These initiations are inherited from my marabout ancestors and are only transmitted to those who are spiritually ready. I do not offer these initiations lightly, only to those who have been chosen by the ancestors.

Khaliss
Major initiation that establishes a deep connection with ancestral forces. The Khaliss becomes your personal protector, your spiritual guide. He will accompany you throughout your life.
Spiritual Awakening
To develop your gifts of clairvoyance, clear-sightedness, communication with spirits. You will learn to see what others do not see.
Totems & Guardians
Initiation to receive an animal totem or a guardian spirit who will protect and guide you. You will learn to communicate with it.
Secret Societies
Induction into traditional societies: Orisha, Egungun, Oro, etc. You will receive the ancestral secrets and become a full member.
Initiation to Plants
For those who want to learn to use sacred plants, roots, barks. Become a traditional healer.
Initiation to the Drum
The drum is sacred in the vodun tradition. Learning to beat the drum to call the spirits, communicate with them.
Initiation to the Sacred Fire
For those called to handle the sacred fire, make sacrifices, master the energy of fire.
Royal Initiation
For those called to become chiefs, kings, queens in their community. Receive the blessing of the ancestors to rule.

The Process of an Initiation
First Contact
You contact me and explain your feelings, your call, your dreams, your expectations. I never take an initiation request lightly.
Cowrie Consultation
The cowries are cast to confirm that you are ready for initiation, that the ancestors accept you, and what type of initiation is for you.
Consultation of Ancestors
Through specific prayers, I enter into contact with your ancestors to understand what they expect from you and if they have chosen you.
Preparation Period
Before the initiation itself, a preparation period is necessary: prayers, fasts, purifications, to make you ready.
Sourcing of Ingredients
Depending on the type of initiation, specific ingredients must be found: rare plants, sacred objects, fabrics, etc.
Initiation Ceremony
The ceremony itself can last from several hours to several days. Prayers, chants, dances, sacrifices, transmission of secrets.
Reception of Attributes
You receive the attributes of your initiation: necklaces, bracelets, clothing, power objects, which will identify you as an initiate.
Retreat Period
After the initiation, a period of retreat is often necessary to integrate the received energies and reconnect with the world.
Lifetime Follow-up

Before you commit
A Sincere Call
Initiation is not done out of curiosity or following a trend. A sincere call from the ancestors and a real willingness to commit are necessary.
The Necessary Time
An initiation takes time: preparation, ceremony, retreat. Expect several weeks, sometimes several months.
An Investment
Initiations require rare ingredients, sometimes sacrifices, and attributes. The investment is commensurate with the importance of the event.
A Responsibility
Being initiated is a responsibility. You become a representative of the ancestors, a guardian of traditions.
No Guarantee
If the ancestors refuse, I cannot force the initiation. Sometimes, it is not the right time or the right person.
Absolute Discretion
